Message from Pastor Jeff Feil:

Thank you to everyone who has shared their love for the Crumpton family. Your concern and prayers for these precious folk as well as our church has been overwhelming to say the least. It is very apparent that many are desirous of knowing details regarding the services for Matthew as well as information regarding how to send flowers and gifts.

The following is provided as you search for a way to help the Crumptons in this time of need:

Funeral Arrangements:
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20th.

The Funeral is set for 1 pm. on Thursday, January 21st.

The Heber Springs Funeral Home is handling arrangements for Matthew. Their website address is www.heberspringsfuneralhome.com.

We would like to ask a small favor. If you plan to attend the Funeral service, please email your intentions to us at remembermatthew@hotmail.com. It would be helpful to us to know how many to expect for the services.

Flowers, Memorials, and Love Offerings: Many have asked for ways to help the Crumptons at this time.

Flowers may be sent to Cleburne County Baptist Church through Amy's Florist of Heber Springs. Phone: 800.437.3492

Memorials may be sent to the Matthew Crumpton Foreign Missions Fund care of Cleburne County Baptist Church. These funds will be distributed in total through our local church to foreign missionaries for the preaching of the Gospel.

Love Offerings have been offered graciously by many churches and individuals. The Crumptons are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from God's people. If you desire to send a monetary gift to assist this precious family, you may do so via our church. Please note on the check Memo line that the offering is for the Crumptons.

Lodging may be necessary for some who plan to attend Matthew's service. Our church members have happily offered housing to those who need it. This is available on a limited basis. If you need lodging, please call the church office or you may email your request to remembermatthew@hotmail.com.

An area motel with available rooms is the Quality Inn, 3450 Highway 25B North, Heber Springs. Phone: 501.362.1000.

Other motels may be found in Searcy (30 minutes).

It is with much sorrow that we inform everyone of a terrible loss. While at home in Arkansas, John Matthew Crumpton, collapsed during a timeout while playing a basketball game Friday evening. Tim performed CPR all the way to the hospital, but they were unable to revive him.

Matthew’s 15th birthday was Friday and the Lord gave him the greatest present of all, being in the presence of the Lord. Heaven’s joy is met with earth’s sorrow. Thank you for your prayers for this family during this time.

Thank you for visiting us today. We hope you enjoy the tour of Venture of Faith Camp; we pray that this may be the camp for you.
We are a Christian camp with standards, conservative music, and strong preaching from the KJV. This is a ministry of Pine Bluff Baptist Church in Albany, GA. We host two teen camps, two junior camps, and a Spanish camp in the summer. We also host a Winter Retreat and Men’s Retreat in the winter.
